Suicide

Suicide serves no purpose. A soul that takes this escape route will be reborn into a much more difficult and unbearable situation. One's present circumstances result from past karma. Suicide only adds substantially to this karmic burden. Without doubt, the next birth will bring extremely agonizing suffering. God may forgive the repentant for their errors, but not those who wilfully commit more mistakes with full awareness. Existence's laws always prevail. No one transcends these laws. Eventually, each person must settle their karmic account. Even unintentional mistakes must be paid for; what then of intentional suicide? Thus, suicide is a foolish act that worsens one's plight and brings no relief.
